Tonight we film at Horse Ranch! Fred and Fredricka have been kind enough to let us film there even though theyll be gone at bingo. Not many peole know this but there horse arena thing is built over an old bottomless tar pit! This makes it perfect for what we're trying to do artistically (^_^)!

I think this shots will just be Holli and her horse, Moonbeam (not the real horses name but the name for it in my head). I know that she's said before that she doesn't like horses, but I'm hoping she can ride this one for just a couple minutes. We can use a stunt rider for other stuff.

More filming! Today Holli said she could do some filming for me but NO HORSES. I dont want to tell her that eventually she has to get on a horse because that's how Bridget saved Ireland, but I don't want to tell her.

We're going to do the scene where she meets with Adonius to tell him that she has to travel the country. I found a great field nearby where I think we can jump the fence and film in there. Awesum!

I finally thought of a good way to sum up the movie: Braveheart meets Titanic meets Monty Python!

I decided that most of the filming will be when people get unbusy. Whichwill be next to nevar! (-_-) j/k

I did get something filmed, though. I wanted lots of shots of pretty landscape and stuffs so I went for a road trip. I started at my house and then drove until I saw something pretty or interesting. It felt like I got like 100 hours of filming done but it was really just twenty minutes.

Then my friends said they would LOOOOOOVE to be in it, so they'll be peasants and stuff. The mains characters are what matters right now. Yippee!

I got some locations figured out.

The princesses's castle - my dad's place in the hills
Forbidden Lake - the lake?? (near a tar pit, possibly)
Adonius's clan's head quarters - Ft. Pierre Tar Pit
Dublin - some fields around town
Final tar pit - Horse Ranch (Fred, Fredricka Horse)

Still no casting done. rewriting some of the script (but only a little)

I wanted to go casting after school today but everyone was busy (>o<)

SCRIPT IS DONE DON E DONE! I finished the final touches to my screenplay last night. It was like 3 lol but I got it done. I really like the ending. I think if i shoot it right that people will leave crying. BUT IN A GOOD WAY! (^^_^^) [double eyes!] I'm totally covered in goosey bumps!

Some of my favorite lines:

"I was hoping, dear father, that thou would have the heart to spare thine own daughter. Alas, my heart, and my love, shall be preserved forever."

Okay. I spent a lot of time in photoshop the other day and made up a graphic for the movie. Behold!

OKAY I TURNED COMMENTS OFF BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE WERE BEING $*#(#. I DECIDED NOT TO REALLY SWEAR BECAUSE MY MOM READS THIS BLOG. BESIDES YOU JERKS AREN'T WORTH IT.

Alright quit harping. Here's the story right now (still writing script - eeek!)

Bridget is an Irish princess. Her father, the king (duh!) is real oppressive. He wants all of ireland to himself (there were clans, or whatever back then and he wants them all to be one nation). So she runs away with her lover to the Forbidden Lake. There a wise old wizard (Merlin, anyone??) gives her the chance to save Ireland from her father, but she has to sacrifice herself by being thrown in the bog to die a slow death. She says "Let me think about it" (^_^) but she's not sure. Then her lover gets captured by her father. Her lover is from a poor clan (think trailor trash) and he doesnt want her marrying him. So, Bridget asks Merlin if he can save her lover, too, and he says yes. What he tells her to do is to ride her horse to all the towns and say that her father is making a big announcement. She rides for like years and finally rounds everyone up and they go to Dublin (I guess??) and stand all around waiting for him to make an announcement except he was going to execute the lover there intsead until he saw all those people. Then she rides up to the pit and says Let him go or ill kill myself in this bog. Her dad says she could never do that, so she does, and it takes hours (I'm going to speed that part up *_*!) and with everyone watching he decides to spare the lover, and the lover kills the king and becomes the first king of a united Ireland. Credits, the end! <3

I tell you what... this is going to be a sweet movie. We've got horses, we've got people, we've got a bog princess... what more could you POSSIBLY want?! We found this great horse farm that's actually built on TOP of the tar pits, much like the bog that Princess Bridget was actually found in. Only this isn't Ireland- or anywhere near it. But kewl nonetheless!

Holli (milesrausch.com slash holli) has been great so far, but she has this intense fear of horses. I think it's a childhood thing, not sure. I don't even want to start reading into her psyche... we all know how that ended last time! I don't think Corky St. Clair has ever gotten over that incident.

At any rate, production is going swimmingly and I can't wait to see the finished product! I'm like a drag queen in Victoria's Secret!

Production starts today! I'm so excited. we've been writing the script (over and over and over!) and were finally done. i asked around and some of my friends will help me out with this endeavor. holli (milesrausch.com slash holli) said she'd be Bridget.
